August was a very full month! What was meant to be a month off, saw four shows, a host of gatherings, a lot of travel, and some fun times with friends and family!

I spend a quick morning exploring one of Seattle’s most famous spots, Pike Place Market! I head back to a couple of my favourite stops from previous visits, Mee Sum Pastry and Rachel’s Ginger Beer, before watching the legendary Pike Place fishmongers do what they do best and throw some fish around. I also make a stop at the magic shop, wander through some of the market’s many stands, and finally make my way to the famous Gum Wall before heading back to the ship. It’s a short visit in Seattle, but there’s still plenty to see, eat, and explore! Thanks for hanging out with me and being part of the journey. In this video, I spend the day exploring Victoria, BC! I start the day by meeting up with my friends Keith and Erika for a great breakfast at Frank’s, a local breakfast spot right by the water. From there, I head over to Fisherman’s Wharf with one very important goal, getting some oysters. Unfortunately, things don’t quite go according to plan. I make my way to the BC Parliament Buildings for a tour, explore a little more of the city, and make a very important stop at my favourite restaurant in the world, Pagliacci’s. After a full day of exploring Victoria, I head back to the ship to finish the day with not one, but two shows. Thanks for hanging out with me and being part of the journey. We went to a wedding, I did a 90-minute public show, enjoyed an incredible steak dinner, and so much more!

Today, I join the Virgin Brilliant Lady for a month-long contract out of Seattle. I kick things off with the sail away event, then head right into some sea day activities, including Prime Time Ports (a new event offered by Virgin specifically for the Alaska season) and playing games with Christine Lozada and Scott. In Juneau, I follow a treasure hunt left behind by my friend Nick Paul, then show some glacier views on another sea day. I finish by exploring Sitka and walking through Totem Park. I spent two days exploring the beautiful city of Ketchikan, Alaska. I stopped by the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show to watch my new friend Aiden (a real life Lumberjack) compete in the competion show. He competed for the Canadian Side! I wandered through the famous Creek Street area, and enjoyed coffee and lunch with Christine. A short stop, but a great couple of days in one of Alaska's most charming towns.

Birthdays, mountain magic, and some ships! Tori and I escaped to the Crowsnest Pass, celebrated turning a year older, and I squeezed in one day at home before I joined the Brilliant Lady in Seattle and set sail for Alaska.

This is the final instalment of our Japan travel series. Before heading home, Tori and I spend our last few days exploring a bit more of Tokyo and squeezing in a few things we still had left on our list. We visit TeamLab Planets, take a bus trip out to see the snow monkeys, and have an incredible beef sukiyaki lunch as part of the excursion. Back in the city, we finally track down the perfect tea set souvenir after searching all over for one, grab Tori her long-awaited cherry blossom daifuku, and sit down for one final katsudon lunch before packing everything up and heading to the airport. It feels strange wrapping this series up after such an incredible trip I enjoyed the trip and being able to re-live it with these video edits! I’m really glad we get to share it with you.
