Coutts Centre Arts Festival

July 23, 2018

In an earlier blog entry, I spoke about how my summers were spent. If you haven’t read that… do it here! For those of you who already have and need a recap, Festivals! And yesterday, I found myself at one that I have had the pleasure of attending for three years in a row!

The Coutts Centre arts festival.

The University of Lethbridge was gifted a beautiful property by the late Jim Coutts, a Lawyer, former advisor to Pierre Elliot Trudeau, and a major benefactor to the U of L. The Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage is a beautiful garden getaway just outside Nanton Alberta. Complete with an amphitheatre, every summer for the last three years, I have been a part of afternoon performances, landscape painting, and great food!

If you are around next year when the festival is taking place, you should check it out! It’s an extremely fun afternoon and an absolutely gorgeous grounds!

Until next week,

Ben
